Anti-Discrimination Cell (ADC)

Statement:  In the campus, Justice, Peace, and Revolution form the cornerstone principles ensuring equal rights and opportunities for every individual in their pursuit of education. These principles underpin the campus's social fabric. Any action, speech, or intent that disrupts harmony among people is promptly addressed and resolved to maintain a peaceful environment. • This cell is responsible for addressing any instances of depriving a student, staff, or group based on factors such as caste, creed, language, ethnicity, gender, or diverse abilities.
• It endeavors to safeguard the institution's dignity by addressing concerns related to equality in education provision within the campus.
• Its primary focus is to create a conducive academic environment for all members of the college community.
• The cell ensures the protection of individuals' rights in their learning process, without bias towards their appearance or lifestyle.
• It is committed to eradicating and preventing all forms of discrimination or harassment within the campus, enforcing measures to eliminate such behaviors and imposing appropriate sanctions on offenders.

Anti-Sexual Harassment Committee (ASHC)

BLMCP has formed an Anti-Sexual Harassment Committee (ASHC), also referred to as the Internal Complaint Committee (ICC). Its primary goals include fostering a harassment-free environment for everyone associated with the institute and handling any reported cases of harassment. The committee comprises both male and female faculty members along with a counselor, ensuring diverse representation for effective resolution. Role of the ICC

• To Facilitate conciliation to settle the matter between her and the respondent.
• Conduct a thorough investigation within the specified period (90 days) outlined in the Act.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on both the inquiry and settlements, submitting them to the Director.
• Maintain strict confidentiality throughout conciliation proceedings, including record-keeping.
• Ensure convenient accessibility throughout the proceedings.
